Vitamin C or ascorbic acid does not only improve the immune system it also brightens skin tone and to a certain extent inhibit melanin production. The craze now is the use of glutathione that are available in orally administrable form as tablet or in an injection preparation. For people who can afford and want faster manifestation of visible effects are laser and cryosurgery.
The craving for natural and safe products is high but remains to command a hefty price due to demand and cost of ingredients. With the price, these products are moving so fast in the counters of the rich nations while the developing countries are becoming the dumping ground of products with banned chemicals. So, caution is the word to go by, to be safe.
